I don't think what OP did was very smart, but have some sympathy. Losing an account/password can be very frustrating.

Oh and BTW, firefox did the same exact thing to me. Search wasn't working at all and the only option was to uninstall and reinstall it. When I uninstalled and reinstalled, everything was wiped.

Except I remembered to export all my passwords in a .csv file before uninstalling it. And I also had most of them already written down/remembered.

It's a problem that I have, and the result of solving mistakes like these for many years.

Bravo. I do have many systems in place to restore my system in case something fails.

That reminds me, I haven’t done an anime and GIMP backup in over a year.

I use the backup and restore option of windows to do a weekly full backup of my C: drive.
I also use shadow backups of important folders and file history.
And Acronis true image monthly to create a full image of my C: drive.

Use a password manager with appropriate backups instead of relying only on your browser. Apparently I'm not allowed to link to one, I know I already replied to this thread.

There will not be security questions. If you do not supply an email at registration, there will be no way to reset your password. No other venues of resetting will be created at this time, nor likely in the future.
